David Duchovny, why won't you love me?

Duchovny said he'd "like to start shooting next winter."

So, after 2 years since the last episode, and 6+ years since the last movie, they want to make the next movie a standard monster-of-the-week special?! Chris Carter, why do you hurt me so? I bet they just couldn't figure out a way to write any sensible plot line about aliens after the ridiculous last episode. Hm, maybe they'll have another film, say around December 2010, when the aliens are supposed to arrive...

And, the plot sounds suspiciously like that of the Cowboy Bebop movie. Re: "megabad"

At least it'll be Duchovny eye-candy. Mmmm.
